Demand & Supply Junior Planner

The Demand & Supply Junior Planner plays a critical role in ensuring product availability and operational efficiency by balancing demand forecasts with supply plans. This position leverages historical data, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration to develop accurate forecasts and optimize inventory levels. The role oversees supply flows from approved suppliers to meet customer service targets while controlling costs. Success is measured through forecast accuracy, service level performance, and effective inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the UK Consumer Supply and Demand manager for the UK portfolio. For an assigned product portfolio, analyze historical sales performance, assess key demand drivers, and prepare forecast data using statistical forecasting models. Continuously evaluate and improve forecast accuracy.
2. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align assumptions, reconcile significant variances, and integrate market intelligence into the demand plan.
