Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards Job Description Position Title: Lead QC Technician (12 month FTC) Reporting To: QC Team Lead Key Responsibilities: Carry out scientific and technical tasks within the Microbiology Quality Control Department in an effective and efficient manner. Perform routine laboratory procedures and potentially lead all aspects of the work of others within the section. Prepare technical documentation within the department as required. Train others as needed. Ensure compliance with all personal lead times, barring any attenuating circumstances. Manage and complete projects within the department as needed. Develop and validate laboratory procedures. Review analytical and laboratory data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with detailed procedures. Communicate effectively with colleagues on site and participate in departmental and site-wide problem-solving. Undertake additional tasks as necessary. Apply cGMP in your area of work and align with cGMP across the business. Qualifications/Experience: Degree in Applied Biology (with microbiology) or a closely related field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in Pharmaceutical Microbiology. Proven ability to work to critical timelines. A proactive approach. Effective communication skills at all internal levels.
