Garage 59 is a championship-winning racing team with a legacy of excellence across GT racing and heritage motorsport. As we prepare to enter the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2026, we are expanding our race team operations and building a high-performance structure to support this exciting new chapter.
Based initially at our Technical Centre in Brackley, and relocating to Northampton in 2026, the Race Team Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of our WEC programme, supporting logistics, team operations, and event execution across a global calendar.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive individual with a passion for motorsport and a strong understanding of race team dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate race team logistics including travel, accommodation, freight, and equipment movements for WEC events.
* Support the Team Manager in scheduling, documentation, and communication across departments.
* Liaise with suppliers, championship organisers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
* Assist with team registration, passes, and compliance with championship regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date records of team personnel, kit inventory, and event documentation.
* Help manage hospitality, catering, and team welfare at race events.
* Support planning and execution of test days, media activities, and partner activations.
* Ensure alignment between engineering, technical, and commercial teams on event requirements.
What We’re Looking For
* Prior experience in motorsport operations, logistics, or team coordination (GT, F1®, WEC, or similar).
* Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and team management tools.
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to travel internationally.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
