Overview
Velocity are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to join their general haulage client in the Birtley area.
Contract
This position is temp-perm Monday to Friday, start times rotate over 2 weeks: first week 15:30 start usually, second week 18:00 start usually, 10 hour shifts.
Responsibilities
* Trunking from Birtley to Bolton with a collection from South Shields on the way back.
* Trailers will be a mixture of curtains and boxes; at collection/delivery points you may be required to offload/load using a pallet truck or rolling cages.
Pay
Pay ranges between £15.69ph- £16.81ph.
Qualifications
* Applicant must have held their licence for at least 2 years and all licences must be in date.
* We accept no more than 6 points for minor offences.
