Hybrid role with 3 days per week in Edinburgh office
We are currently supporting an exciting and fast paced agile business who are going through a strong period of growth and therefore seeking an Indirect Procurement Lead to join their expanding team.
As the Indirect Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for day-to-day stakeholder management, identification and planning of sourcing activities, leading supplier selection and negotiation efforts with the support of the Center of Excellence resources.
You will determine the sourcing strategy for the relevant categories and restructure the supply base where advantageous, as well as report on and manage Vendor performance. You will help improve global service operations, performance and develop cost effective solutions across all indirect categories such as Corporate Services, Marketing, Logistics, Facilities and Property.

Key responsibilities:
* Manage and run Indirect procurement activity end-to-end
* Provide market intelligence regarding trends, capacity, price benchmarks, innovations, etc
* Report on and manage vendor performance, as well as being the primary point of contact for supplier performance issues for the in-scope categories
* Lead any procurement transformation programmes 'on the ground' by rolling out thorough category management
* Manage high-value, long-term contracts to ensure risk is minimised and quality is upheld
* Data-driven sourcing analysis to make informed category decisions and strategic purchasing
* Collaborating across time zones with team members in the USA, UK, EU, and Asia
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience operating at a similar senior level in Procurement
* Strong category knowledge across all areas of Corporate Services such as Contingent Labor, Recruitment Services, Professional Services, Tax & Audit Services, Legal, Travel, Benefits and Marketing with previous experience managing similar levels of spend
* Operated on a global scale in previous roles
* Inspires stakeholder engagement through strong, persuasive and effective communication with confidence and credibility at C-Level/board level
* Proven team collaboration strengths with gravitas and influence
* Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities being commercially astute with a drive for results
* Confident communication, influencing and negotiation skills from both a supplier and stakeholder perspective
