The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced BMS Service & Small Works Engineer to join a growing and well-established team covering the Midlands. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of service, maintenance, and small project delivery, with a strong focus on customer interaction and technical problem solving.
You'll be working across a regional patch (typically within 1.5 hours of home), supporting a range of commercial and industrial clients while delivering high-quality service and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out service, maintenance, and reactive callouts on BMS systems
Deliver small works projects on time and within budget
Diagnose faults and optimise system performance
Assist with site surveys and early-stage design input
Review project scope to ensure alignment with specifications and client requirements
Produce weekly progress reports and technical documentation
Support design progression through RFIs and technical submissions
Assist with sourcing subcontractors and coordinating works
Contribute to value engineering and continuous system improvements
Support the planning and scheduling of works with suppliers and subcontractors
Requirements
Experience working with BMS systems such as Trend, Tridium, or Schneider
Electrically competent with strong fault-finding ability
Valid UK driving licence
Good IT and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
