Summary Active Hospitality are looking for a Cluster Reservations Agent to join their enthusiastic team. This role will be varied and demanding suited to a hardworking and highly organised person who can work on their own initiative. The successful candidate will have proven experience in customer services with the knowledge of Opera, MS Outlook and Word. As Cluster Reservations Agent will work closely with the Sales and Reception teams across all the Active Hospitality venues. You will ensure the smooth running of the reservation process and maintain a high level of guest service. Responsibilities Primary Answering enquiries via telephones/email Entering reservations from emails, phone reservations, as well as those rejected by the system Liaising with Front Office, Sales and F&B team on a daily basis about upcoming reservations, special requests and offers Checking reservations have the correct information i.e. billing instructions, special requirements, no. of nights. Tracking complimentary and ‘house use’ rooms Redemption of vouchers on third party web sites Monitoring and sending ‘stop sales’ to third party partners Monitoring and balancing inventories across the year Entering Wedding and MCR/group rooming lists Performing reservations checks at day 7 and day 3 Food and Beverage reservations for individual guests Skills/experience Essential Excellent attention to detail & be inspired. Guest focused - with a dynamic and flexible approach. Well organised - ability to work under pressure and to deadlines and targets A can-do attitude, team player, spirited & relentless in your objectives Great organisational and administrative skills Excellent written and oral communication – must be confident and articulate Knowledge of Opera is preferable Worked within the hotel industry (preferably front desk / reservations).
