Job Title: Project Manager PMO – Project ControlsLocation: Glascoed – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular roleSalary: Up to £55,000 (depending on skills and experience)What you’ll be doing:Promote the practical application and use of Project Control tools and techniques for successful programme deliveryGuide Project Managers in the correct use of Project Control techniques, including scheduling, change control and earned value management, identifying and supporting training needs where required.Provide cross-functional support for the monthly project update cycle, supporting the Project Management community in understanding and proactively using key programme performance indicatorsEstablish and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships in support of Project Control reporting and toolset developmentEnsure the project schedules and the project control systems in place for each project are fit for purpose by providing peer review support at key points in the project lifecycleData Analytics, metrics and performance assessments through project and dashboard reportingYour skills and experiences:Minimum of 3 years experience in a Project Management Office, Project Management environment or a project delivery support roleDemonstratable experience of the reporting and analysis of Project Control information, including Earned Value ManagementExperience of a Project Control Systems and toolset/s or an appropriate alternativeAnalytical skills, able to manipulate data and identify trends and able to coach the Project Management community in project control outputs, analysis and interpretationStrong understanding of Microsoft ProjectFamiliarity with, and competence using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, knowledge and demonstrable practical experience of the SAP system would be of significant benefitSupportive, empathetic and capable of building effective working relationships at all levels of the business and across functional boundariesBenefits:As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.The Land UK Project Management Team:As a Proj ect Man ager PMO – Proj ect Con trol, you will deliver across a spectrum of Proj ect Manage ment and Proj ect Con t rol competen cies, including project planning, scheduling, resource demand, governance, earned va lue manage ment and portfo lio manage ment activities, through a central and integrated Proj ect Manage ment information environment. You w ill lead the deployment of Planning, Monitoring and Con trol within the business, in support of business and customer requirements.
