About the role
Pay details: Grade 5 SCP 8 - 12 £26,824 - £28,598
Main Place of work: Civic Office Barry
Working pattern: Full time
The post holder will support the Council’s debt recovery service by assisting solicitors and senior officers with the progression of Adult Social Care and sundry debt cases. The role involves a hybrid approach combining early intervention, negotiation and support with preparation for litigation and enforcement where appropriate. The post contributes to the delivery of a lawful, proportionate, fair and efficient debt recovery service, balancing income recovery with vulnerability and customer care considerations.
