Senior Care Assistant at HC-One. Join to apply for the role where Kindness is at the core of everything you do across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will help residents with care plans tailored to their needs and work as part of a team to provide personalised care.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
* Plan and implement care to give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
* Know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
* Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
* Administer medication as required and maintain accurate records of your work.
* Communicate with residents and co-workers with kindness and professionalism.
Qualifications
* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (NVQ) and prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent.
* Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
* Strong record-keeping, time-management and communication skills; positive energy and ability to get along with people.
Employment Details
* Full-time position, 44 hours per week.
* Shift pattern requires day and night work.
