About Escode

Our Escrow Verification Services confirm the completeness and usability of deposited code, providing confidence to investors and minimizing software dependency risks.
The Opportunity:
Based in Manchester, UK, the Verification Consultant role involves carrying out Verification services with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). The primary responsibility is to ensure deposited source code and related information are successfully stored and can be used to rebuild software if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with ISVs remotely and on-site to perform Verification services.
* Audit the rebuild process for software or systems in escrow.
* Handle escrow deposits securely, following policies.
* Audit software/system under verification according to service requirements.
* Address obstacles during verification by liaising with ISVs, Licensees, and colleagues.
* Coordinate with Verification Delivery and Scheduling teams.
* Assist Account Management in developing client and ISV relationships.
* Produce clear Verification Test Reports documenting procedures and findings.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience with modern software development methodologies, languages, and tools.
* Knowledge of common, modern operating systems.
* Understanding of virtualization/containers.
* Awareness of public cloud providers; certifications in Azure and AWS are advantageous.
* Experience in pre-sales technical support is a plus.
* Confident presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Report writing skills with attention to detail.
* Client-facing confidence and ability to represent NCC Group values.
