Working with the Divisions, Strategy and Planning, Finance and Estates Teams, the Portfolio Officer will support the Portfolio Manager in the administration of the Major Capital Portfolio and the deliver of the Trust’s broader Capital Programme. The focus on this role will be on supporting the programme management of multiple projects and programmes as part of the portfolio.
This role will work closely with the projects and programmes to ensure standard paperwork is completed as required and the portfolio is administrated within the new Business Development Process. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of standard programme paperwork, including risk registers, highlight reports etc and programmes of work. They will support the Portfolio Manager in maintaining the overall programme plan and organising and administrating meetings as required.
The role will involve supporting with planning, managing, and coordinating activities and projects to a high standard and to deadlines. The role of the Portfolio Officer is varied and will develop and maintain key administration, finance and communication systems for the team including responsibility for project management, finance and record keeping processes. Acting as the key point of contact for the wider team, the Portfolio Officer will link with internal and external stakeholders and ensure effective communication and cohesion across the team and its partners.
