We are seeking one full-time Family Support Worker to join our dedicated Family Hubs team across Sandwell. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate, collaborative workforce and play a key role within our wider Family Hub Network.
About the Role
As a Family Support Worker, you will work closely with families, communities, and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children. Using a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and relational approach, you will help ensure families receive the right support at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver targeted interventions, achieving measurable KPIs and positive outcomes
2. Provide high-quality direct work to strengthen families and promote resilience
3. Support families to access appropriate universal and specialist services
4. Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to family needs
5. Complete and maintain accurate records, including risk assessments and GDPR documentation
6. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies
7. Contribute to effective exit strategies that ensure sustainable change
8. Capture and use the voices of children and young people to shape service delivery
