Our client are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team based in Swinton. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a welcoming business.
You'll be working as part of a close-knit finance team of 4, supporting across both purchase ledger and credit control functions.

Key Responsibilities
Purchase Ledger:
* Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Setting up BACS and same-day payments (including multi-currency)
* Managing monthly company credit card expenses and receipts
* Setting up new supplier accounts
* Raising intercompany recharge invoices
* Handling supplier queries via email and telephone
Credit Control: (Supporting the Credit Controller)
* Posting and allocating daily customer payments
* Sending invoices and statements to customers
* Chasing outstanding payments (including proforma and standard accounts)
* Raising credit notes where required
* Dealing with customer queries via email and telephone
About You:
* Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
* Confident working across both purchase ledger and credit control
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Comfortable communicating with suppliers and customers
