Role Overview
What will you be doing?
As a Parts Sales Executive, you will work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre.
* Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers
* Accurately identify parts to meet customer requirements
* Utilise all product promotions effectively to meet targets
* Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base
* Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
* Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits
* Provide high-quality service by understanding customer needs, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice
* Communicate timely updates on credit status to customers
* Support the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent customer service
* Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to achieve sales targets
* Handle incoming calls and inquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting
* Use systems accurately to search and order parts
* Complete documentation promptly and accurately
* Manage cash and credit card transactions following TPS Guidelines

Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts for Volkswagen Group vehicles. It is part of the Volkswagen Group, including brands like Audi, SEAT, KODA, and Volkswagen. TPS operates a national network of Centres, employing approximately 1,500 staff, committed to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that encourages learning and development.
Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, stocking and selling on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
Essential Skills
What are we looking for?
* A self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
* Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments
* Passionate about providing excellent customer service
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders
* A team player with drive and determination to meet sales targets weekly and monthly
* Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
* IT literate, preferably with knowledge of MS Excel
* A passion for the automotive industry
