EARLY YEARS / KS1 / KS2 CLASS TEACHER FULL-TIME, 1 YEAR FIXED TERM FOR SEPTEMBER 2025 - AUGUST 2026
Rushcombe First School is a successful, forward-thinking, and friendly school, looking for an inspirational teacher who is committed to enriching children’s learning and well-being, ensuring the highest outcomes for all children.
We are seeking either an Early Years, KS1, or KS2 teacher to join our highly skilled team.
For Early Years positions, we look for a teacher who will be committed to:
* Building a culture based on positive relationships, valuing listening, and fostering children’s rights.
* Developing the Early Years Foundation environment along Reggio principles, including providing new provocations and stimuli regularly.
* Implementing innovative approaches to the early years curriculum, utilizing the school’s mantle of the expert approach.
* Facilitating highly effective child-initiated learning experiences through the school’s TED (Time to Explore and Discover), embracing the Hundred Languages of Children (Loris Malaguzzi) to develop children’s languages of expression.
* Providing high-quality outdoor learning opportunities through the creative use of the outdoor area.
* Engaging in ongoing research to enhance early years learning.
* Working effectively within an open-plan team scenario.
For KS1 or KS2 positions, the focus will be on:
* Building a culture based on positive relationships, listening, and fostering children’s rights.
* Developing an emergent, inquiry-based curriculum, utilizing the mantle of the expert approach.
* Creating high-quality learning within taught sessions through co-construction with learners.
* Exploring innovative approaches to developing English and maths skills and the broader curriculum to ensure high outcomes.
* Applying Reggio principles and embracing the Hundred Languages of Children to develop children’s languages of expression.
* Providing high-quality outdoor learning opportunities regularly.
* Engaging in ongoing research to improve KS1/KS2 learning.
