Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive medical services across all stages of life, managing acute conditions, chronic illnesses, and complex care needs with a personalized, patient‑centered approach.
* Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to develop tailored treatment plans that improve outcomes and quality of life.
* Collaborate with UBC’s Faculty of Medicine to integrate teaching and mentorship into clinical practice, for those interested in academic involvement.

* Eligibility for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including a 14% retention premium, a flat fee of $21,696, relocation funding, and recruitment incentive.
* RCME incentives: $1,320 for up to 2 years in Cranbrook, $3,520 during the 3rd and 4th year, and $5,720 after 4 years, plus Doctors of BC CME funds.
* Additional percentage on top of the Base Rate for quality, coverage, and volume incentives: up to 10% of total hours worked for quality and coverage, and a 20% rate premium for volume during overcapacity periods.
Compensation
Clinical Service Contract estimated remuneration for a full‑time hospitalist is an annual income of $336,162.00, plus MOCAP level 2.
