Please ensure that this is completed in full in order that your application can be reviewed.Part time (20 hours per week) / Term time only (39 weeks per year)This role is Monday to Friday with split shifts:Morning: 07:30 09:30Afternoon:15:3017:30There may also be opportunities for additional hours, trips, and transport duties as required.What we are looking for:Full and clean UK driving licence held for a minimum of 5 yearsCategory D1 (Minibus) PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) driving licencePublic Service Vehicle (PSV) Operator's LicenceExperience of driving minibuses/large vehiclesExcellent timekeeping and reliabilityCommitment to safeguarding and student welfareAbility to maintain accurate vehicle recordsDuties/responsibilities:Carry out routine visual safety checks of the minibus prior to each journey, including checking tyre condition and pressure, fuel levels, lights and general roadworthiness.Drive the minibus safely and responsibly at all times, ensuring full compliance with road traffic legislation and College policies and procedures.Ensure the safety, welfare and comfort of students and staff whilst travelling on College transport.Liaise with relevant academic and support staff to confirm transport arrangements, collection/drop-off times and student numbers.Transport students to and from pre-arranged locations in a safe, punctual and professional mannerPromptly report any vehicle defects, incidents, accidents or concerns to the appropriate member of staff.Undertake all duties in accordance with College safeguarding policies, procedures and protocolsRemain aware of, and comply with, child protection and safeguarding requirements when working with young peopleBenefits:A discounted on-site gym, sports hall, fitness class, Starbucks, osteopathy and day nursery5-minute walk from Ewell East StationBlue Light DiscountFree online qualificationsFree parking on-siteEye care voucherNescot is graded Good by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023.
