We are seeking to appoint an IT Support Technician (Level 1) to provide frontline technical support to users across the organisation (Ardingly College and Great Walstead School). As our IT Support Technician (Level 1), you will act as the first point of contact for most IT issues, resolving problems within defined procedures and escalating more complex, infrastructure level, or security related issues to the IT Technician (Level 2) or Senior IT Technician (Tier 2/3) as appropriate. The role focuses on resolving routine IT incidents and service requests, maintaining end-user devices, and delivering a consistent and reliable customer support experience. The ideal candidate will bring experience of providing first line IT support or working in an IT helpdesk environment, with a working knowledge of Windows and Apple environments and an understanding of basic IT support and customer service principles. Strong communication skills, effective time management and organisational skills and the ability to follow procedures and escalate appropriately are also essential.
