Dani Organic Foods Limited is an organic Food company based in South-East England selling raw ingredients to customers around the world. We are seeking an interim Quality Control Executive to cover maternity leave.
Position Summary
To assist the Quality Department to ensure that all processes, products, and services comply with established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting inspections of raw materials, finished goods, supporting organic and FSMS audits, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of the Organisation. The role deemed to take below responsibilities and other responsibilities assigned by the management.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all supplier requirements are coordinated for necessary requirements accomplish all certification status (Organic, NOP, BRCGS, Kosher, Halal, SEDEX and Fair-trade) of Dani Organics.
* Record customer complaints, raw materials observation and evaluate supplies and production process based on the evaluation criteria.
* Implement Quality culture initiatives as per quality culture maturity plan
* Conduct inspections, physical testing, and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products exported to the customers.
* Assist completion of customer questioners and SAQ.
* Record production deviations, GMP deviations, and identification of Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality reports.
* Prepare and submit periodic quality performance reports to management.
* Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation.
* Record keeping in organic mass balance
* Complete ongoing documents for our sister company in the Netherlands and maintain the master data, related to analysis report recording, supplier correspondent update, complain log update.
* Identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures.
* Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
* Participate in root cause analysis and recommend solutions.
* Educate staff on quality standards, SOPs, and compliance requirements
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
* Degree educated; preference will be given to applicant's holding a relevant degree in Food Science or related discipline.
* Experience of working within a Quality Control environment and within the organic food industry is essential. - Excellent knowledge of food industry standards, including BRC, HACCP and ISO 9001.
* Foreign language skills desirable.
* Excellent IT skills/MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP software)
