The Opportunity
Our client is a Care Home for Children and Young people aged between 11-18 years old with Social, Emotional, Mental Health and Complex needs. They are looking for someone who knows how to make a house, a home. They are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and determined Registered Manager for their childrens home based in Waltham Abbey.
The Position
1. To be responsible for shaping and delivering the residential homes Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same.
2. To provide high quality care services that supports the needs of the residents, to be an advocate for their well-being and to provide strong, motivational leadership to staff.
3. Promote and actively encourage the delivery of a safe, structured and nurturing environment, promoting the young persons independence and developing their life skills.
4. To support staff to achieve the highest standards of care for the young people.
5. To co-ordinate and monitor casework and administrative functions of the home and evaluate standards of performance.
6. To assist and supervise in the continual assessment of the needs of the children and young people and to identify and prepare specific development plans to ensure the most appropriate service provision.
