Description
We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and take ownership of designing, building, and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines across our diverse business portfolios. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless project delivery across the Alcumus suite of products, optimizing build, release, and deployment pipelines for maximum efficiency.
What that means day to day
* Collaborate: Be a core part of a cross-functional DevOps team, contributing to the design and implementation of solutions for various business portfolios.
* Automate: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, aligning with our DevOps strategy.
* Build Quality Solutions: Deliver high-quality, scalable, secure, and robust solutions that drive business success.
* Work Agile: Partner with product squads to ensure alignment between solution design and implementation, embracing an agile mindset.
* Support: Participate in squad stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions to ensure successful team execution.
* Collaborate and Plan: Engage in team planning, estimate tasks, prioritize, and identify milestones and risks.
* Innovate: Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies, seeking continuous improvement.
* Support our Teams: Provide support during tech support hours and be available for 24/7 on-call support via a rotating schedule.
* Security First: Incorporate security principles into daily workflows.
What you’ll need to be successful
Essential:
* Proven experience in DevOps or Software Development.
* Expertise in designing, building, and implementing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
* Experience implementing “Release on Demand” capabilities within a SaaS model.
* Strong understanding of DevOps tools and technologies.
* Proficient scripting/automation skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
* Hands-on experience with Docker and deploying applications to Kubernetes using Helmfile and Helm charts.
* Familiarity with integrating QA automation and security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with source control tools like GitHub.
Desirable:
* Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
* Expertise in managing Kubernetes and container orchestration systems.
* Familiarity with authentication/authorization tools like Keycloak.
* Experience with front-end technologies like React, Node.js, C#, or .NET.
* Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
* Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP.
* Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka.
