English Teacher - Portsmouth
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-term until December 2025 (potential to become permanent)
Pay: £160 - £240 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm | Full-Time

Position Overview
Supply Desk is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Portsmouth to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher. This full-time role begins in September 2025 and will continue through December, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
You'll be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, joining a supportive and collaborative English department. The school welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators. Unqualified teachers with solid secondary English teaching experience may also be considered.

We\'re Looking For
* A degree in English or a related subject (required).
* QTS or a recognised teaching qualification (preferred).
* Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
