JOB DETAILS We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant (Apprentice) to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in management accounting while studying towards your AAT Level 4 qualification through our apprenticeship scheme. Working alongside our Senior Management Accountant, you will support the production of management accounts across the Group. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and reconciling fixed asset registers Assisting with prepayments, accruals, and commission statements Supporting month-end closure and balance sheet reconciliations Contributing to cost analysis (actuals vs budget/forecast) Helping with ad-hoc reporting and analysis Supporting colleagues in the day-to-day running of the Finance function A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This role also offers flexibility to work from home, typically two days per week for a five-day working week. 1 day per week will be spent at College. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED This is an entry-level role, and we are open to different backgrounds. You might be: A recent school or college leaver with strong maths skills (A Level Maths or equivalent is desirable) Someone who has already started their AAT studies and is looking for practical experience alongside training Or perhaps you already have a few months experience in a finance role and are eager to progress your career What matters most is your enthusiasm, drive, and willingness to learn.
