As we continue to expand across the city, we're looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to help shape and deliver campaigns that tell the Colony story, drive occupancy, and strengthen our brand presence.
The Role
The Senior Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering our marketing strategy; combining creativity, organisation, and analytical thinking to manage campaigns from concept to execution.
You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure that every touchpoint reflects the Colony brand and drives tangible results. This is a brand new role for the business, perfect for an experienced marketing executive looking to take the next step in their career.
You'll lead on campaign delivery, manage content creation, and take ownership of day-to-day marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Campaigns & Strategy
Plan, manage, and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, paid, print, partnerships).
Work with the Head of Marketing to translate strategy into actionable campaign plans with clear KPIs.
Manage timelines, budgets, and reporting for ongoing campaigns.
Support lead generation activity for coworking, private offices, and meeting rooms.
Content & Brand
Oversee content production across digital channels, from planning through to copywriting and posting.
Collaborate with external creatives (designers, photographers, videographers) to develop on-brand assets.
Maintain and evolve the Colony tone of voice across all communications.
Create brand storytelling pieces, newsletters, blogs, and case studies spotlighting members, events, and venues
Digital & CRM
Manage and optimise email campaigns (Mailchimp), including segmentation, automation, and performance tracking.
Maintain website content and coordinate with designers or developers for updates.
Support digital advertising activity and monitor analytics to improve performance
Community & PR
Collaborate with internal teams to promote community events, partnerships, and launches.
Support PR activity and coordinate press opportunities.
Work with the Operations team to promote member benefits and internal communications.
Reporting & Insights
Produce regular campaign reports and analyse performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
Track lead sources and engagement metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
Skills & Experience
Essential
3–5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within creative industries, property, or hospitality.
Proven experience running multi-channel campaigns.
Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability.
Strong digital and CRM skills (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
Confident in managing projects, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders.
Creative thinker with a commercial mindset.
Desirable
Knowledge of the Manchester creative/business landscape.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with video content production and social media trends.
Understanding of flexible workspace or property marketing.
