Overview

Join to apply for the Planning Administrator role at DHL Supply Chain.

Location: Gatwick Airport, RH6 0JW · Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm · Contract type: Permanent (Full-Time) · Pay rate: £29,725

Interviews are provisionally scheduled to take place during the week commencing 15th September. Important: The role is based within an airport and requires security/background checks if successful.

Ready for your career to take off? DHL, a leading supply chain business, also provides ground handling services at many UK airports. We are seeking a Planning Administrator to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving excellent results.


What does the role entail?

* Long term resource planning – maintain staff rosters, schedule training and manage leave
* Update various IT systems used for payroll and resource planning
* Generate daily reports for site managers and upload new employees to the payroll system
* Work through a shared inbox, responding to queries and handling requests
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and agencies face to face, as well as by phone and email


Requirements

* Previous experience in an administration role (essential)
* Strong IT skills and proficient use of basic Excel (essential)
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills – calm, friendly and professional
* Organised with the ability to respond quickly and accurately to situations


Security / Compliance

* Be able to provide 5 years of address history
* Be able to provide 5 years of reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
* Obtain a full airside ID
