Country Lane Foods is a growing and dynamic egg packing and supply business working closely with British farmers and major retail and wholesale customers. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a Financial Assistant to join our managerial team
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to financial and administrative tasks. This is a key position and will suit someone willing to grow with the business. You will be overseeing the financial management of the business ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting and strategic financial insight to support growth.
The successful candidate will play a central role in driving financial performance, improving systems and supporting operational decision making
Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for weekly and monthly management accounts.
* Cashflow forecasting and working capital management.
* Budgeting and annual financial planning.
* Margin analysis by product ,customer and flock cycle
* Overseeing of purchase and sales ledger functions
* Managing payroll and HMRC submissions.
* Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
* Process invoices and manage accounting tasks using QuickBooks.
* Support team members with clerical duties as required, fostering a collaborative working atmosphere.
* Ability to administer and collate new and existing stock control systems
* Proactive with a positive can do attitude, detail oriented person with a hands on approach
