Responsibilities
* Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
* Take customer orders accurately
* Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
* Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting the kitchen team
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
* Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
* Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
* Assist in setting up event spaces or special functions when needed
Skills
* Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
* Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
* Barista experience is a plus but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
* A positive attitude and team-oriented approach are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
