The Role: The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for supporting the Health and Safety Manager in driving a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across all GBS campuses. The role ensures legal compliance, promotes safe systems of work, and supports the continual improvement of health and safety performance across the organisation. The postholder will lead inspections, audits, training and incident investigations, providing competent advice and guidance to staff, managers, and students.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Per Anum

Experience And Skills Required:
* Substantial and proven experience in a health and safety role within complex, multisite environments.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum.
* Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and compliance frameworks.
* Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections, and investigations.
* Proven ability to deliver Health and Safety training, and raise awareness effectively.
* Confident communicator, trainer and influencer with strong stakeholder skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and incident management systems.
* Ability to work independently, travel between campuses, and manage time effectively.
