We’re hiring two Platform Engineers to join our Platform Team:
What's involved
You’ll develop and maintain our infrastructure and software delivery systems, working closely with the Platform Manager and wider team. This is a great opportunity for:
* A graduate with strong JS/TS fundamentals and an interest in infrastructure and DevOps.
You'll be mentored and guided by our experienced Platform manager and the wider team.
This is a varied, hands-on role with a strong focus on production-grade platforms. You’ll work across:
* Platform architecture and AWS cloud infrastructure
* Kubernetes-based application delivery
* CI/CD, observability and operational excellence
You’ll be comfortable leading technical work, debugging complex systems, and balancing project delivery with responding to high-priority issues. You’ll also play an important role in coaching and mentoring others.
Must-have skills
Junior
* Code management and version control (git, GitHub or GitLab)
Mid/Senior
* AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM)
* Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi (TypeScript)
* CI/CD with GitLab Pipelines (including Auto DevOps)
* Observability (DataDog, CloudWatch)
* CDN configuration (Cloudflare)
* Strong experience with git and GitLab
Nice to have
* CI/CD tooling and pipeline optimisation
* AWS or Google Cloud Platform
* Internal Developer Platforms (e.g. Backstage)
* Platform and application security
* JS build tooling (Vite, Webpack, Rollup, Turbo, Nx)
* Front-end development (React)
* Authentication systems and libraries
* Experience in ISO-governed environments
