Greenhous DAF Wolverhampton is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced team.
Salary: Dependent on Experience (to be discussed at interview stage)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, i.e., 40 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).
Key Responsibilities:
* Registering a large quantity of invoices (100+ per day).
* Posting invoices to match the GRNI.
* Dealing with day-to-day queries from suppliers.
* Referring invoices to the correct manager for authorisation.
* Checking supplier bank details for accuracy.
* Producing monthly statement reconciliations accurately and promptly.
* Raising payments to suppliers and submitting the payment run on time.
* Producing quarterly reconciliations of the Paccar account.
* Providing reception cover as required.
* Performing any ad hoc duties within the finance department.
Ideally, we are looking for:
* Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk role.
* Self-motivated and forward-thinking.
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Accurate and confident in manner.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and be computer literate.
