Job Description
* Accurately process supplier invoices and ensure proper coding.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
* Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Assist in responding to supplier queries and maintaining good relationships.
* Support the Accounting & Finance team with month-end reporting tasks.
* Collaborate with colleagues to improve accounts payable processes.
* Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks related to the department as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful AP Clerk should have:
* Experience in an accounts payable role within a retail setting.
* Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* A keen eye for detail and excellent numerical accuracy.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Confidence in communicating with suppliers and internal teams.
