Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
* Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially
* Experience in acute nursing care
* Degree educated or equivalent
* Up-to-date knowledge in the area of practice
* Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
Duties of this role include:
* Strategically plan and deliver patient-safe clinical care for the Theatre service, aligned with business needs
* Manage day-to-day organization and leadership of the Operating Department, coordinating clinical and non-clinical theatre staff
* Provide clear direction, motivation, and leadership to the theatre team, supporting hospital initiatives
* Develop, motivate, and appraise the theatre team to meet CQC standards
* Maintain a cost-effective theatre service, including financial management and business planning
* Achieve labour management targets and complete weekly staff utilization spreadsheets
