Job Details

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week


Responsibilities

* Assist in the overall management of the leisure and spa facilities, including pools, fitness areas, treatment rooms, and relaxation areas.
* Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of facilities and equipment.
* Monitor and maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in line with industry regulations.
* Supervise and motivate a team of leisure and spa team leaders, leisure attendants, fitness instructors, spa therapists, and receptionists.
* Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members to ensure high levels of service delivery.
* Assist in budget planning and financial management for the leisure and spa departments.
* Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and profitability, implementing strategies to maximise revenue and minimise costs.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the facilities.
* Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments, addressing safety concerns promptly.


What you will bring

* Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the leisure, spa, or hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
* Sound knowledge of leisure and spa operations, including facility management, guest services, and industry trends.
* Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue management.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
