We're looking for an energising, customer focused General Manager to lead East Riding Leisure Bridlington, driving outstanding customer and visitor experiences, commercial performance, and community impact. You'll be the visible heartbeat of the centre: inspiring a large, multidisciplinary team, elevating standards every day, and championing health andwellbeing for residents and visitors alike.

From early-morning swimmers to family fun and active agers, our centre welcomes thousands of people each week. As General Manager, you'll turn strategy into results, growing memberships, maximising programme utilisation, and ensuring every visit feels safe, seamless, and memorable.
What you'll lead and deliver:
1. Operational excellence: world-class cleanliness, safety, and safeguarding; watertight compliance across Health and Safety, audit, and industry standards.
2. Team leadership: recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team with a culture of recognition, accountability, and care.
3. Customer focus: deliver a consistently brilliant experience across reception, fitness, aquatics, groups, and events, measured by feedback, NPS, and retention.
4. Commercial growth: own the budget; drive membership and lessons, optimise timetables and pricing, and turn insight into action.
5. Partnerships and communities: work with schools, clubs, NHS/public health, and local partners to broaden participation and reduce health inequalities.
6. Continuous improvement: data-led decisions with a bias for action, so every month is better than the last.
About you:
7. Proven leadership experience in a leisure or comparable customer-centric environment.
8. A confident people manager who builds trust, lifts performance, and communicates with clarity.
9. Commercially astute with budget ownership and a track record of hitting growth and service KPI targets.
10. Safety‑first mindset and a safeguarding champion.
11. Comfortable with data, digital tools, and modern membership platforms.
12. Passionate about inclusion and making activity accessible for everyone.
