About You:
* A recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or qualified by experience in a senior role
* 5–10 years post-qualification experience at senior accountant level
* Excellent analytical, reporting and IT skills, including MIS and advanced Excel
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
* Proven leadership ability and strong commercial awareness
* Experience in manufacturing, product costing, or ERP systems (desirable)
Your Responsibilities
Always
* Lead the finance function and ensure full compliance with reporting standards, legal requirements and IFRS
* Produce accurate monthly accounts, budgets and group reporting for the parent company
* Provide analysis, insights and recommendations to support business performance
* Oversee statutory accounts and audits, ensuring all deadlines are met
* Maintain strong financial controls, reconciliations and effective use of the ERP system
* Support departmental managers on KPIs, cost management and inventory valuation
* Ensure VAT returns, policies and core financial processes are completed accurately and on time
* Uphold health, safety and environmental compliance
Often
* Participate in preparing quotations for new business and grant applications
* Monitor and manage existing bank loans
* Collaborate on continuous improvement programmes and information-sharing initiatives
* Provide support across the organisation on financial reporting and system-related queries
Occasionally
* Undertake Company Secretary legal requirements
* Liaise with external regulatory bodies
* Support other duties or project-based work as required
