Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
 * Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
 * Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making processes.
 * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
 * Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
 * Provide insights on financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
 * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity and consistency.
 * Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
 * Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
 * Design and develop interactive dashboards to visualise financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics using Power BI.
 * Automate recurring financial reports and streamline month-end close processes through Power BI integrations.
 * Analyse complex financial datasets to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you should have:
 * A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
 * CA / CPA Qualified
 * Advanced Power BI capability
 * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
 * Experience working with large ERP's is a must. Microsoft Business Central is highly regarded
 * Advanced Excel skills.
 * Thorough knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
 * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
 * Experience within the industrial or manufacturing sectors is highly regarded.
