Overview
Drive service and digital change by turning business needs into clear, deliverable solutions. This Business Analyst role focuses on understanding services, working with stakeholders, and shaping change across the Data Innovation and Data Management team.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather and translate business requirements; work closely with clinical and operational teams.
* Coordinate delivery activity, support governance and act as liaison between digital/data teams and the business.
* Identify scope, analyse problems, conduct current state and gap analyses, and prepare user research to define needs.
* Support solution development and appraisal: to‑be state, user journey mapping, options appraisals.
* Assist with acceptance criteria, acceptance testing, user testing and post‑implementation performance analysis.
* Transform analytical findings into clear, data‑driven actions and strategic recommendations.
* Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities, and assess data quality.
* Communicate findings in simple, stakeholder‑appropriate language; design, deliver and facilitate workshops.
* Quantify inefficiencies and opportunities into financial metrics; support monitoring of financial savings.
* Support and develop colleagues through coaching, training and knowledge sharing.
* Maintain confidentiality in line with Data Protection Act and Trust policies, and adhere to infection control and safety policies.
Qualifications
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping and business analysis.
* Ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
* Proficiency with analytical tools and techniques, including current state and to‑be analysis, gap analysis, user journey mapping and MoSCoW prioritisation.
* Experience in supporting governance, stakeholder meetings and reporting to senior leaders.
* Comfort with data analysis and turning insights into action.
* Commitment to continuous learning and development in business analysis.
