JOB OVERVIEW
A Production and Warehouse Operative will be responsible for manufacturing materials, picking and collating products ready for paint, working on the powder coat and wet paint lines, and Despatching goods. This will include operating machinery and using numerous power and hand tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Preparing pipes, gutters and components using machines and tools such as:
o Chop Saws, Band Saws, Hand and Pillar Drills and Deburring Machines
o Fettling and cleaning items using Grinders and Orbital Sanders
o Swage machines
o Glue Gun
o Hole Punching Machine
· Completing Operator Assisted Maintenance on machines when required.
· Ability to read CAD drawings and competently use vernier, protractors etc.
· Maintaining the highest possible standard of work.
· Keeping work area clean and tidy.
· Understanding of angles and trajectory.
· Adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Forklift would be an advantage but not essential
