Competitive Salary Performance Incentives About the Role We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead and scale multi-site domiciliary and complex care services across the North West. This is a critical senior leadership position with full responsibility for operational performance, Registered Manager leadership, and service delivery across multiple branches. ?? Essential Requirement: You must have direct experience managing 1,000 care hours per week within a domiciliary or similar regulated care environment. Applications without this will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead and manage all Registered Managers across multiple sites Drive performance against KPIs (staffing, compliance, retention, financials) Oversee rota management, capacity planning, and service delivery Act as escalation point for operational issues Quality & Compliance Ensure full CQC compliance across all services Lead audits, inspections, and continuous improvement plans Oversee safeguarding, incidents, and complaints Workforce Management Improve staffing stability and reduce agency reliance Drive performance management and accountability at management level Support recruitment and retention strategies Commercial Performance Manage budgets, margins, and contract performance Monitor staffing ratios and cost control Work with finance to forecast growth and demand External Stakeholders Build relationships with ICBs, commissioners, and case managers Support tenders, new service mobilisation, and growth About You Essential: Senior operational leadership experience in domiciliary care / complex care Proven track record managing multi-site services Experience overseeing 1,000 care hours per week Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and governance Experience improving service performance Commercially aware with strong financial understanding Desirable: Registered Nurse (RN) background Experience in nurse-led or complex care environments Knowledge of CHC / ICB-funded care packages Experience supporting business growth or tenders What Youll Bring Strong leadership presence and accountability Data-driven decision making Ability to challenge and improve underperformance Calm, structured approach in high-pressure environments Why Join Us?
