Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technician
Location:Enfield
Salary:£45,000 - £60,000 per annum+ performance bonus
Working Hours:
Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 AM - 14:30 PM
Evening Shift: Monday to Friday, 15:00 PM - 23:30 PM
Additional Requirements:2 Saturdays per month
Trial Requirement:3-hour trial required
Tools:You must have your own tools
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a passionate and skilledVehicle Technicianto join our team in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician with 2+ years of experience to develop their skills working on a wide variety of makes and models in a fast-paced, supportive workshop. You will be responsible for performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance work to a high standard, contributing to vehicle safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle inspections, fault diagnostics, and repairs across a broad range of makes and models
Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance (e.g., oil changes, brake checks, fluid replacements)
Identify and resolve both mechanical and electrical faults
Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and health & safety regulations
Maintain accurate service records and part usage documentation
Support senior technicians and workshop manager on more complex jobs as needed
Deliver vehicles back to customers in excellent working order
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and productive workshop environment
Comply with company procedures and industry standards
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a vehicle repair garage or workshop
Confident in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles
Strong attention to detail and fault-finding skills
Able to work independently and maintain high repair standards
Must own a full set of tools
A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
Willingness to work 2 Saturdays per month
Must be available to complete a 3-hour trial as part of the hiring process
