We are now recruiting for a Head of Reception at The Kenmore Club, located in a scenic Scottish village on Loch Tay. This is an exciting time as we transition to being part of the Hilton Group under Hilton Grand Vacations.
Responsibilities
As Head of Reception, you will lead a team providing 24-hour service to Owners, Members, and Guests, ensuring a high standard of service and the 'Stay Vacationed' culture.
* Manage the Reception Team daily in line with service standards.
* Oversee reservations and pre-arrival requests to meet guest expectations.
* Recruit, train, and develop the Reception team.
* Coordinate with other departments to deliver exceptional service.
* Organize shifts and work planning.
* Manage the Reception budget.
* Present a welcoming image both on the phone and in person.
* Review and improve internal procedures for operational efficiency.
* Handle guest concerns and ensure follow-up for satisfaction.
* Communicate regularly with the Resort Manager about opportunities and updates.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
* Leadership and team motivation skills.
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience with cash handling, banking reconciliations, and budgeting.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The role requires 40 hours per week on a shift/rota basis, including mornings, evenings, and some bank holidays.
