About Our Client
This Nursery based in Potters Bar focuses on delivering quality childcare services, and are committed to fostering a supportive and professional environment for both children and staff. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join them on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday in Potters Bar.
Job Description
* Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities for young children.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
* Support the emotional, physical, and social development of children in your care.
* Work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and team members to meet children's individual needs.
* Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
* Follow all safeguarding procedures and policies to ensure children's safety and well-being.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members when necessary.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your childcare expertise.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Nursery Practitioner Level 3 should have:
* A Level 3 qualification (or working towards) in childcare or early years education.
* Experience working in a professional childcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
* The ability to build positive relationships with children and their families.
* A proactive and organised approach to supporting children's development.
