They partner with world-class technology providers including Allen-Bradley (by Rockwell Automation), Siemens, and Mitsubishi Electric to design, develop, and deploy high-performance control systems for complex industrial environments.
As a Software Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and commissioning of PLC-based control systems. You’ll work on diverse, technically challenging projects from concept through to site acceptance, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and innovative automation solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop PLC software using Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms
* Design and configure HMI/SCADA systems
* Produce functional design specifications and test documentation
* Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing)
* Commission systems on client sites (UK/International travel may be required)
* Troubleshoot and optimise existing control systems
Experience required:
* Proven experience programming PLCs using: (Allen-Bradley / Rockwell (Studio 5000, RSLogix) / Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7) / Mitsubishi (GX Works)
* Experience with industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, Profibus)
* Strong understanding of control systems, automation architecture, and industrial safety
