Clarus Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher on behalf of a well-regarded primary school in Bexley. About the Role: Year 5 Class Teacher
1. Lead a motivated and friendly Year 5 class within a well-organised KS2 department
2. Deliver engaging, well-paced lessons that stretch pupils and deepen subject understanding
3. Support children’s academic progress while promoting independence, resilience, and confidence
4. Contribute to a positive school culture built around collaboration, consistency, and ongoing reflection
5. Engage in high-quality CPD and work alongside experienced colleagues who share resources and expertise
Ideal Candidate Profile
6. Holds QTS (essential)
7. Experience teaching in KS2, particularly upper key stage experience, is highly desirable
8. A teacher who brings strong subject knowledge, creativity, and a commitment to raising achievement
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and families
10. A reflective practitioner with a proactive attitude and a passion for supporting older primary pupils
