Avionic Technician - Manchester - Long term Contract (Outside IR35) Duration of contract:12 months Shift: Mon-Friday 07:00-19:00 Competitive rate - Outside IR35 About the Role We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to join our engineering team supporting the Boeing 777 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) Conversion Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the industry's most advanced wide-body conversion projects, ensuring the successful transition of passenger aircraft into fully compliant freighter configurations. Key Responsibilities Perform removal, installation, modification, and functional testing of avionics systems and electrical components associated with the P2F conversion. Support integration of new cargo systems, flight deck modifications, and electrical load updates. Install and route new wiring looms, connectors, and harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings and modification manuals. Carry out system checks, continuity testing, and troubleshooting of avionics and electrical systems. Assist in the installation and certification of cargo handling systems, smoke detection, and environmental monitoring systems.
