Full Time – 37 hours per week
Band 3- Salary Range £28,011 - £30,230 per annum
Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum
The Patient Travel Department is looking to recruit a Patient Travel Assistant to join the team. In this role have the opportunity to work in an extremely busy but rewarding environment, providing a service which directly benefits patients. This post will be an office based role and once training is complete you will be required to take part in the on call rota for evenings & weekends.
You will be educated to SVQ3 level (or have equivalent experience) along with Standard Grade English and good arithmetical skills. ECDL or equivalent computer skills are also required. The ability to communicate well with people and experience of an admin role within a public facing service are also essential. Experience of working within a healthcare setting and with travel systems is desirable but not essential as systems training will be provided and will be specific to the requirements of the department.
Consideration will be given to job share.
