Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to assume responsibility for the leadership of the Accounts team and the smooth running of the department. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine day-to-day oversight with team leadership and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily financial transactions, including AP/AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
* Manage and co-ordinate the Accounts team, ensuring smooth departmental performance.
* Lead on supplier payments, cash flow, and month-end/year-end activities.
* Drive the budget and forecast process, supporting senior management with reporting.
* Ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE, RTI, and company accounting policies.
* Support audits, tax requirements, and annual activities (P11D, P60, etc.).
* Maintain high standards of financial record keeping, GDPR compliance, and quality assurance.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of management accounting.
* Confident communicator who can liaise effectively across departments.
* Hands-on, organised, and detail-focused approach.
