Job Description
Purple is actively seeking a bright, driven and enthusiastic Public Relations Account Executive to join its Lifestyle Division in the agency’s London office, working across our high-profile luxury restaurant and drinks clients to implement communications strategies.
The right candidate must have a genuine passion for managing ongoing communications on behalf of high-profile clients and using initiative in order to achieve exceptional results. Must be organized, driven and creative. Strong written and verbal communication skills and an established understanding of public relations are essential.
Role Responsibilities:
* pitch story ideas to achieve maximum editorial placement across your brands through bespoke pitches, press alerts and newsletters
* support on mailings, events, social media promotions, partnerships, blogger and influencer outreach initiatives
* reports and coverage presentations for all clients
* all media, print, digital and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity, scanning relevant articles for distribution around the team
* press requests and image call-ins, and compile and manage all mass mail outs
* be able to draft relevant media and influencer lists as well as bespoke press audits
* manage all account admin including agendas, minutes, internal databases, press coverage trackers, bookings trackers
* all relevant client events, supporting the senior team
* partnership and collaboration opportunities
* AM’s on communication with all clients, building rapport and credibility based on trust and expert counsel
* to build media relationships by attending press meetings and launch events
Requirements:
* years of Lifestyle PR experience, ideally within an agency scope ideally within the food and beverage space
* with the organization of press reports and press clips.
* solid understanding of and ongoing interest in media relations.
* to identify communication opportunities through a pro-active approach.
* to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines. Excellent prioritizing and time management.
