As our Procurement & Stock Co-ordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll manage day-to-day procurement activities, maintain accurate stock levels, and ensure our stock rooms and build areas are organised, efficient, and ready to support our engineers in delivering exceptional service.
This is a hands-on, physical and practical role that combines procurement, stock control, and collaboration with teams across the business.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership of procurement and stock activities, including:
* Raising and managing purchase orders, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records
* Coordinating urgent stock requests to site when needed
* Receiving deliveries, asset tagging items, logging receipts, and allocating stock to the correct locations
* Proactively organising stock rooms, prep areas, and the engineering build room to maintain high standards
* Supporting stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
* Using stock and quote data to assess inventory requirements and future demand
* Maintaining accurate product data across internal systems
* Supporting stock reporting and analysis (usage trends, failure rates, minimum stock levels, etc.)
* Preparing stock for planned works orders
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers
* Working closely with Finance on invoice reconciliation and queries
* Identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting process and system enhancements
* Assisting with general ad-hoc tasks within the stock and build rooms
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and enjoys getting stuck in:
* A hands-on approach with a willingness to support all aspects of procurement and stock management
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A commitment to keeping workspaces tidy, safe, and efficient
* Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers

* Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn and improve processes
Skills & experience
Essential:
* Competent using MS Office in a professional environment (particularly Excel)
* Experience in procurement, stock control, or supply chain roles
* Full UK driving licence
